RAINBOW QUEST IN TOP ELEVEN SIRES WORLDWIDE
RAINBOW QUEST was once again in very good
company when he was named in the World’s top eleven sires by Bill
Oppenheim’s year-end APEX (Annual Progeny Earnings Index), covering
a seven-year period from 1995-2001. More than 1,200 stallions
qualified by having 10 or more foals of 1998 (3-y-o’s of 2001) in
the major Northern Hemisphere racing countries. RAINBOW
QUEST was in fact eighth in the list, the highest British
based sire.
Remarkably, the top eleven for this year are the same eleven of
last year and RAINBOW QUEST'S Eighth sees him
gradually moving up on an annual basis. From the eleven,
RAINBOW QUEST represents exceptional value
at a mere £40,000. With A.P.Indy, Danzig and Storm Cat leading the
field, RAINBOW QUEST certainly ranks amongst the
elite and as the most successful British based sire in the history
of the European Pattern continues to lead Juddmonte’s impressive
band of stallions.
