INTERCONTINENTAL TO 1000 GUINEAS?
The beautifully bred Andre Fabre trained filly
INTERCONTINENTAL (GB) (Danehill), a one-length
third in last season's G1 Grand Criterium at
Longchamp, may point to Newmarket's G1 Sagitta 1000 Guineas May 4
after taking a Classic Trial, according to owner Khalid Abdullah's
racing manager Teddy Beckett.
"INTERCONTINENTAL is doing very well at the moment
and the G1 1000 Guineas at Newmarket is under consideration." said
Beckett. "She may return in the Listed Prix Imprudence at
Maisons-Laffitte Apr. 15." Intercontinental is the latest runner
from Juddmonte's Hasili (Ire) (Kahyasi (Ire), making the
three-year-old a full sister to Banks Hill (GB) and Dansili (GB). -
