TRIO OF RAINBOW QUEST FOALS FOR GAINSBOROUGH
Three outstanding Rainbow Quest foals have been
born at Gainsborough Stud over the past few days. The first was a
bay colt out of the Listed winning Irish River mare Ville
d’Amore. She is the dam of Gr.1 Prix Marcel Boussac
victrix Loving Claim (Hansel) and of Gr.3 July
Stakes winner and sire City On A Hill (Rahy).
Sixteenyear-old Ville d’Amore is due to visit Fantastic Light this
season.
The second of the trio is a filly out of Gr.2 Falmouth Stakes
and Gr.3 Prix de Sandringham heroine Sensation and
a full-sister to Systematic, the winner of seven races, including
the Gr.3 Cumberland Lodge Stakes and currently in training with
Mark Johnston. Sensation has a two-year-old filly by Sunday
Silence, born to Southern Hemisphere time, in training in Australia
and a Sunday Silence yearling filly to Northern Hemisphere time.
She is due to visit Machiavellian this year.
The third Rainbow Quest foal is a bay filly out
of Janaat (Kris). This filly is a half-sister to
Gr.1 winner and sire Lend A Hand (Great Commotion) and a
three-parts sister to the Gr.3 winner and sire Richard Of
York (Rainbow Quest –Triple First).
Janaat is out of dual Gr.2 winner Triple First (High Top) and is a
winning half-sister to five stakes winners, including Gr.2 winner
and Oaks third Three Tails (By Blakeney; dam of the Gr.2 winner Sea
Wave and Gr.3 scorers Tamure and Three Cheers) and the Gr.2 victrix
Third Watch (Slip Anchor). Janaat is due to visit Green
Desert.
