FLYING START FOR DANSILI COLT AT TATTERSALLS BREEZE
UPS
Dansili made an instant impact at the
Tattersalls Breeze Up Sales when his colt out of Snipe Hall (lot
32) was bought by James Delahooke for 60,000 gns. This provided a
healthy profit for the vendors as he had cost 31,000 gns as a
yearling, that in itself being a good return on an £8,000
nomination fee. Snipe Hall was a useful juvenile who won the Listed
Empress Stakes and was placed in the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot. She
has made a promising start as a broodmare, with her first foal
Spliff marking himself down as a useful prospect when winning his
final 2-y-o start last year. Snipe Hall is visiting
Observatory in 2004.
