HIGH PRAISE FOR DANSILI'S FIRST CROP
During a stable tour of his Lincolnshire yard, James
Given had the following to say about his two year old Dansili
colt Vanadium (ex Musianica):
"By a first season sire, who I feel will have a very good
year, and out of the family of Wunder's Dream. The family have done
very well and I feel that this individual, a good specimen, will
also do very well. A lovely, athletic horse with a great atitude,
he's done some faster pieces of work already and looks a colt with
a lot of scope."
In the same issue of the Racing Post, from the Bloodstock Desk,
Rachel Pagones and Janet Hickman included Dansili in their feature
on high profile first season sires :
"Consistently high class, Dansili won five races over a mile and
was second four times, to the likes of Dubai Millenium, Giant's
Causeway and Sendawar. His outstanding siblings include full
sisters Banks Hill, Intercontinental and three quarter sister Heat
Haze, all at least high class from seven furlongs to a mile and a
quarter. Danehill's top class offspring cover the spectrum from
sprinters to stayers; Meanwhile, the family has produced precocious
sprinters Three Valleys, Sookera and Bold Fact. A best guess is
that Dansili will get a good batch of two year olds who will excel
alter over a mile or more."
