VIOLETTE IS FIRST GROUP WINNER FOR OBSERVATORY
OBSERVATORY sired his first Group
winner and his second black-type scorer yesterday, when his
daughter Violette was the comfortable winner of the Gr.3 Firth of
Clyde Stakes at Ayr. The Limestone Stud-bred filly swept to victory
by three lengths and is another who may next run in the Rockfel
Stakes. She also earned quotes of 20 – 30-1 for the 1,000
Guineas.
