A SUCCESS FOR THE SMALL OWNER BREEDERS
PARISETTE (3yo f DANSILI
ex Moulin Rouge by Shareef Dancer), Paul & Sue Homewood’s
winner of the Wilman Interiors Maiden Fillies’ Stakes (8½f)
at Windsor on Monday evening was a very rewarding success for
these small owner breeders. This was Parisette’s debut
and making progress approaching the final quarter of a mile,
she ran on strongly to take this by 1 ¾ lengths.
Paul & Sue have bred a number of winners abroad but
Parisette (their first horse in training since her dam Moulin Rouge
raced in 1998, when she was placed in 3 of her 4 starts) was their
first success in England. Moulin Rouge foaled a full-brother
to Parisette on 13th March 2005.
Parisette’s sire DANSILI is now the sire of 24 individual
winners from his first crop following a three lengths win from Why
Now at Southwell yesterday.
