STREETS AHEAD TO THE STATES
A 75-percent interest in Streets Ahead
(Beat Hollow), recent
winner of the Listed Stonehenge S. at Salisbury Aug. 25, has been
acquired by Team Valor and will likely make his North American
debut in the Gr.2 Summer S. over the Woodbine turf course. Andrew
Balding will handle the training duties for the Sept. 17 event and
has tabbed Martin Dwyer to ride the colt for the first
time.
The son of Frond (Alzao), is slated to make his
second North American appearance in the Gr.1 Lane's End Breeders'
Futurity S. at Keeneland Oct. 7. Team Valor will race the colt in
partnership with, among others, Gary Barber, the producer of
Seabiscuit.
