OASIS DREAM FILLY GOES TO GOSDEN FOR 250,000gns
TRAINER John Gosden on Tuesday night went to 250,000gns to buy a
first-crop OASIS
DREAM half-sister to William Muir’s smart juvenile
Big Robert at the opening session in week two of Tattersalls’
October Yearling Sale.
The filly, bred locally at Salah Fustok’s Deerfield Farm in
Dullingham, hails from the family of Sacrament and Chorist and
Chris Richardson of Cheveley Park Stud, which bred that pair,
provided Gosden with his final opposition once Patrick Veitch and
William Muir had dropped out.
“She was a very racy filly with a good, powerful relaxed manner
- just like her father,” said Gosden. “The half-brother’s a very
nice horse and it’s a family that’s alive. I’m not sure who she is
for at the moment.”
OASIS DREAM'S
first crop have been well received this autumn and a filly by the
Juddmonte stallion out of 1992 Molecomb Stakes winner Millyant made
170,000gns when sold by Trickledown Stud.
Anthony Stroud bought the filly and said: “She’s going to Roger
Charlton and I’ve been impressed with the
OASIS DREAMS.
He was an exceptional racehorse and is passing it on to his
stock.”
