CHARLOTTE STORMS IN FOR GROUP WIN AT DEAUVILLE
IT WAS a good day
for first-season sires at Deauville on Saturday when both
BEAT HOLLOW sired his
first stakes winner.
BEAT HOLLOW'S
daughter Charlotte O Fraise got the ball rolling in the 7f Group 3
Prix du Calvados. Bred by Mrs Chris Harrington, the filly is out of
the Machiavellian mare Dundel from the family of In The Wings. Her
victory capped a fine week for Beat Hollow, who was represented by
Salisbury winner Streets Ahead on Thursday and stands at Banstead
Manor Stud for £9,000.
OBSERVATORY was quick
to follow up this success with his daughter Mpumalanga who held on
well to take third in the same race.
