Rocking (GB) (f, 2, OASIS
DREAM {GB}--Council Rock {GB}, by General Assembly),
fourth on debut in a Ripon maiden June 5, raced on the heels of the
early leaders and was asked for her effort with a quarter mile
remaining.
Picking up Luscious Lips (GB) (Mujahid) under a drive 50 yards
from home, the well-backed 2-1 favourite ultimately prevailed by 1
1/4 lengths from that rival. Rocking, who becomes the third winner
for her freshman sire (by Green Desert), is a half to Superstar Leo
(Ire) (College Chapel {GB}).
