General Jumbo became his young sire’s eleventh Group winner on
Saturday when scoring in the Gr.3 Kentucky Cup Turf Stakes in
record time at Kentucky Park. The five-year-old son of Dansili held
sway over Fri Guy (Theatrical) in a close finish to land the
spoils.
Bred by Snailwell Stud Company, he was bought by Pier House Stud
for 11,500gns at Tattersalls December Foal Sale and for 17,000gns
by McKeever St Lawrence at Tattersalls October Yearling Sale Part
One. The final foal of Aunt Jemima (Busted), he hails from the
highly successful Cafe Au Lait family.
