FOAL FLURRY CREATES DREAM RESULT
Article taken from the EBN
Trade got tougher, and sons of OASIS
DREAM and DANSILI hit the jackpot for Bob McCreery’s
Stowell Hill Stud, as the ante was upped on Day Three of the
December Foal Sale. After two sessions in which ordinary foals
could not be given away, a stream of better horses fetched
bigger prices, headed by the OASIS
DREAM (Lot 1013), who was bought by Darley’s John
Ferguson for 400,000gns.
Moments earlier those bold pinhookers Willie Browne and Mark
Dwyer put their collective nuts on the line and paid 200,000gns for
the DANSILI (Lot 1010). These highlights occurred during a
session when some of this year’s better foals made their first
public appearance. The second horse into the ring, another son of
DANSILI, made 95,000gns for vendor Mary
Low.
