YET TO WAKE UP FROM THE DREAM
OASIS DREAM’S stellar run continued at the weekend when Main Aim made the step up to Group races in effortless style with a comfortable win in the Gr.3 John Of Gaunt Stakes at Haydock.
In beating six previous Group winners and a further three Listed winners, Main Aim confirmed himself to be a horse very much on the upgrade and his next start at Royal Ascot is eagerly anticipated.
He is his sire’s 25th blacktype performer.
There was nearly another big race win for OASIS DREAM when Visit was only beaten a neck in the Gr.1 Gamely Stakes at Hollywood Park. The consistent filly has now won or been placed in seven Group/Graded races and, like Main Aim, seems to be getting better with age.
DANSILI’S Grade Two winning daughter Diamond Diva was only a nose away in third in the Gamely and her dam, as well as Visit’s, are both in foal to OASIS DREAM.
Docklands, the dam of Arc winner and Juddmonte stallion RAIL LINK, looks to have produced another above average runner after her daughter Milford Sound ran away with a Conditions race at Longchamp. She could now potentially become her dam’s fourth individual Group winner.
Docklands also has a DANSILI yearling filly (a full sister to RAIL LINK) and an OASIS DREAM colt foal.
