DALAKHANI FILLY FOR CHAMPION ZARKAVA

Zarkava (ZAMINDAR), the unbeaten winner of the 2008 Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe, gave birth to her first foal on the evening of Saturday, 6th February at 9.30pm.
Pat Downes, the Irish Manager of the Aga Khan Studs, was on hand to witness the foaling and described the grey filly by Dalakhani as “a lovely individual that is correct, strong and full of quality. It was a straight-forward foaling and Zarkava has proved herself to be a good mother. The Dalakhani filly is a good size for a first foal.”
In 2010, Zarkava is due to be covered by 2009 World Champion Sea The Stars.
